The U.S. Department of Education has awarded Drexel University
and its school district partners in
Philadelphia, PA, Mobile, Alabama, and
Chester/Upland, PA as well as
Charleston, SC: a Transition to Teaching
(TTT) grant. Among other great benefits,
the TTT grant pays for the cost of
Drexel tuition for credit-bearing online
graduate courses leading to state
teaching licensure in Pennsylvania,
South Carolina or Alabama.
Drexel and its school district partners
are now seeking highly qualified
candidates to teach in grades K-12.
Applicants with prior industry or
business experience are encouraged to
apply. Successful applicants are hired
as full-time teachers by our school
district partners in Pennsylvania, South
Carolina and Alabama
